Samsung preinstala keyloggers en sus portátiles

Han descubierto a Samsung instalando keyloggers (programas que guardan absolutamente todo lo que se teclea sin informar al usuario y luego lo reenvían) en sus portátiles de forma oscura, sin advertencias e ilegal.

Su defensa es "lo instalamos para ver cómo usan los clientes el ordenador". Tarjetas de crédito, passwords, users, mail, absolutamente todo reenviado a samsung sin tu conocimiento.

Ningún relaciones públicas de Samsung ha querido responder ante este problema durante la última semana y no parece ser un hoax. Seguramente estén trabajando con sus abogados la futura defensa y tratando de localizar en qué punto de la cadena se instaló el keylogger.

On March 1, 2011, I called and logged incident 2101163379 with Samsung Support (SS). First, as Sony BMG did six years ago, the SS personnel denied the presence of such software on its laptops. After having been informed of the two models where the software was found and the location, SS changed its story by referring the author to Microsoft since ?all Samsung did was to manufacture the hardware.? When told that did not make sense, SS personnel relented and escalated the incident to one of the support supervisors.

The supervisor who spoke with me was not sure how this software ended up in the new laptop thus put me on hold. He confirmed that yes, Samsung did knowingly put this software on the laptop to, as he put it, ?monitor the performance of the machine and to find out how it is being used.?

Si tienes un portátil samsung pasa el antivirus y si detectas ese keylogger, llama a samsung poniéndoles verdes y acto seguido redacta una denuncia.

Yo tengo un Samsung R540 y ya me estaba cagando en todo, pero parece que es un bulo que tiene que ver con el idioma eslovaco y con un fallo con algún antivirus.
